Long, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, visit Soldiers from the Virginia National Guard's Emporia-based 1710th Transportation Company April 29, 2013, at Fort Hood, Texas. After receiving an update about the unit's preparations for deployment, the senior leaders observed training and met with Soldiers at the dinner meal.
