Stafford Civil War Park opens with help from Virginia Guard

The Stafford Civil War Park, which some historians have called the Union army's "Valley Forge", officially opened to the public April 27, 2013. The Virginia Army Guard’s 276th Engineer Battalion and the Virginia Air Guard’s 203rd Red Horse Engineer Squadron played a key role in the park's construction. (Photo by Lt. Col. Eric N.
