429th BSB medics conduct EMT recertification training
Soldiers from the Charlottesville-based Company C, 420th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct Emergency Medical Technician recertification training June 16, 2013, at Fort Pickett. Army medics are required to recertify their EMT ever two years by working on continuing education units, and the Company C training lanes were conducted using the standard for the Expert Field Medical Badge. In addition to receiving the needed training for recertification, the event also helped prepare medics to compete for the EFMB in the future.
