Milde III and Susan Stimpson of the Stafford County Board of Supervisors recognize and thank Soldiers and Airmen of the Virginia National Guard June 18, 2013, a the Stafford County Board of Supervisors meeting for their work on the Stafford Civil War Park. The Virginia Army Guard’s Petersburg-based 276th Engineer Battalion and Forward Support Company, the Powhatan-based 180th Horizontal Construction Company, the Bowling Green-based 189th Multirole Bridge Company and the Virginia Air Guard’s Virginia Beach-based 203rd RED HORSE Squadron all contributed engineering work to the establishment of the park.
