Virginia Guard dedicates new readiness center to fallen comrades -- October 4, 2009

The Virginia Army National Guard held an official dedication ceremony to mark the opening of a new readiness center in Winchester Oct. 4. The readiness center was named after Staff Sgt.Craig Cherry and Sgt. Bobby Beasley, two Soldiers of the 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Brigade Combat Team who were killed when their Humvee was destroyed by an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan in 2004.
