29th Army Band changes commanders - October 18, 2009

Outgoing commander, 1st Sgt. Fred Lewis relinquishes command of the 29th Army Band to Warrant Officer 1 Donald Carlson in an emotional ceremony at the Roanoke Armory, October 18th. As a non-commissioned officer, Lewis has been the commander of the unit for the past eight years. He received a Meritorious Service Medal for his performance and dedication as commander.
