Adjutant General visits 29th ID annual training at Fort A. P. Hill - July 19, 2011

Maj. Gen. Daniel E. Long, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, visits Soldiers of the 29th Infantry Division July 19 during their two-week annual training period at Fort A. P. Hill. Maj. Gen. Frank Batts, the commander of the 29th ID, provided Long with an update on the training plan for the unit and then the two received orientation briefings on some of the equipment being used by Soldiers in the division. Finally they toured the division operations center where the staff was conducting a command post exercise.
