Change of command ceremony held for 529th CSSB - Sept. 11, 2011

Maj. Geoffrey O'Neill assumed command of the Virginia Beach-based 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group from Lt. Col. Michelle Rose in a traditional change of command ceremony held Sept. 11 at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach. O'Neil previously served as the personnel officer for the 329th Regional Support Group, and Rose will serve as the Virginia National Guard state resource officer on the joint staff. Rose served as the commander during the battalion's mobilization to Afghanistan from May 2010 to March 2011.
