116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion conducts combined arms exercise - April 14, 2012
The 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion conducted a combined arms exercise at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia April 13-15, 2012. In a simulated forward operating base, the battalion’s companies worked seamlessly together to exercise their Army warrior skills and military occupational specialties. The military intelligence company, Company B., conducted human intelligence gathering missions in a mock Afghan village, compiled information in their operations center, and developed patterns. Soldiers of Company A practiced basic warrior skills during exercises including, movement to contact and medical evacuation. The battalion’s military police provided entry check point security for the mock FOB and engaged in convoy operations. The Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear team practiced their specialty in field as well.
