Va. Guard chaplains provide service to Guardsmen supporting Presidential Inauguration - Jan. 20, 2013

Virginia National Guard chaplains augment the District of Columbia National Guard's chaplains corps during the Presidential Inauguration by supporting service members from D.C., Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Virginia, Virgin Islands, and West Virginia Jan 20, 2013. More than 600 Virginia National Guard Soldiers and Airmen are in the National Capital Region to assist the D.C. Guard in support of the Presidential Inauguration Jan. 21. Virginia Guard personnel will assist with traffic control, crowd management, and communications. The chaplain support teams will provide religious support, counseling, and a network of liaisons to Soldiers and Airmen.
