Va. Guard aviators support officer training at Fort Lee - Jan. 29, 2013

An air crew from the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 91st Troop Command provides aviation support for an Ordnance and Quartermaster Basic Officer Leadership Course end of course field training exercise Jan. 29, 2013, taught by the 71st Transportation Battalion, Army Logistics University at Fort Lee, Va. As part of the training event, the Virginia Guard air crew responded to a request for aerial casualty evacuation, picked up the simulated casualty, then conducted air movement to transport the casualty to a new location to receive medical treatment.
