Va. Deputy Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Thiel visits Camp Pendleton - May 14, 2014

Virginia Deputy Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Adam K. Thiel tours the Virginia National Guard's Camp Pendleton Collective Training Center with Maj. Gen. Daniel E. Long, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, May 14, 2014, in Virginia Beach. During the visit Thiel received a brief on the capabilities of Camp Pendleton, visited the 203rd RED HORSE Squadron, the 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and the Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy, and toured Camp Pendleton’s training facilities. Camp Pendleton is a state-owned 328-acre installation that provides training facilities for National Guard units, as well as all other Department of Defense active and reserve units and public safety organizations.
