88M course begins at Fort Pickett - Jan. 15, 2015

Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers practice driving 5-ton Medium Tactical Vehicles, or MTVs, with attached trailers, January 15, 2015, as part of the 88M Motor Transport Operator Course at the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute. The 13 students enrolled in the first of two phases of the course, will spend two weeks learning basic control of the 5-ton, how to maneuver on and off road with and without a trailer and how to conduct preventive maintenance and checks on the vehicles.
