Va. Guard OCS commissions three new officers - April 18, 2015

Three officer candidates enrolled in the Virginia National Guard’s Fort Pickett-based Officer Candidate School receive their commissions April 18, 2015, and are pinned with second lieutenant bars by friends and family members at the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute. Sgt. 1st Class Michael E. Nolan, a cadre member with OCS, acted as a guest speaker, and Brig. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, was on hand to congratulate the new lieutenants. The Soldiers were part of Class 58B, and successfully complete the winter accelerated OCS program.
