Florida Guard Soldiers train on motor transport operations in Va.

Approximately 40 Florida National Guard Soldiers assigned to the West Palm Beach-based 254th Transportation Battalion conduct training on motor transport operations March 15-16, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The training was taught by instructors assigned to the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute and part of the first two-week phase of the course required for Soldiers to earn the 88M motor transport operator military occupational speciality and included basic vehicle maneuvers, road test and evaluation on vehicle preventive maintenance checks and services.
