CNGB visits Vigilant Guard exercise at Fort Pickett

Gen. Joseph L. Lengyel, Chief of the National Guard Bureau, visits Virginia National Guard and Pennsylvania National Guard Soldiers and Airmen taking part in Vigilant Guard 18-3 May 9, 2018, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. More than 2,000 National Guard personnel from six states and Washington, D.C., took part in the exercise to improve response to a natural disaster and enhance relationships with local, state and federal emergency response partners.
