VDF conducts security operations training

Members of the Virginia Defense Force conduct security operations training July 14, 2018, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. VDF personnel trained on gate sentry duty, interior and exterior guard operations with area security and entry and exit control. The VDF is authorized by the Code of the Virginia as the all-volunteer reserve of the Virginia National Guard and serves as a force multiplier integrated into all VNG domestic operations.
