Manchester High School roads named for fallen Soldiers

Family members, friends and fellow Soldiers of fallen warriors Staff Sgt. Darryl Booker and Sgt. Dane Cauthorn come together Oct. 20, 2017, for a memorial road naming ceremony at Manchester High School in Midlothian, Virginia. Booker died Jan. 20, 2007, when the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter he was in was shot down near Baghdad, Iraq, and Cauthorn died April 5, 2007, from wounds suffered when his unit encountered enemy forces using small arms fire and grenades in Iraq. Booker served in the Virginia National Guard, while Cauthorn served in the 25th Infantry Division. The ceremony was hosted by Chesterfield County.
