Virginia National Guard RSP prepares new troops for Basic Training, AIT - April 14, 2018

Approximately 115 newly-recruited Soldiers participate in a combined training event as part of the Virginia National Guard’s Recruit Sustainment Program April 14, 2018, in Hanover, Virginia. The event brought together trainees from RSP sites in Petersburg, Virginia Beach, Fort A.P. Hill and Leesburg and aimed to provide a foundation of knowledge for the new troops in advance of their attendance at Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. The Soldiers focused on weapons familiarity, tactical movement techniques and basic drill and ceremony.
