AG visits with campers at 2019 VNG Youth Camp

Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, visits with campers at the 14th annual Virginia National Guard Youth Camp July 31, 2019, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach. In addition to Williams, aviators and crew members from the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment visited and provided campers with an up-close look at both a UH-60 Black Hawk and a UH-72 Lakota. Presented by Virginia National Guard Family Programs, the week-long, overnight camp ran from July 28- Aug. 2 and provides educational, emotional, social, and community support for the youth and families of the Virginia National Guard.
