VNG Soldiers support COVID-19 response operations in Christiansburg - April 24, 20220

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Lynchburg-based 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team provide logistics support to mobile COVID-19 testing and food distribution operations during the month of April in the Christiansburg, Virginia area. During domestic operations, the VNG receives mission taskings from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management and can't respond to direct requests for assistance.
