Marines repair Harrier jet engine at Va. Guard aviation facility - Oct. 1, 2020
Marines assigned to Marine Attack Squadron 223 work on repairing and installing the engine of an AV-8B Harrier jet Sept. 30 - Oct. 1 2020, at the Virginia National Guard’s Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, Virginia. Foreign object damage was found on the jet engine following a routine check by the pilot and the aircraft was towed across the airport to the Virginia National Guard facility where a team of 14 Marines from Cherry Point, North Carolina, tackled the repairs.
