VNG Funeral Honors Soldiers train for COVID-safe services - Oct. 22, 2020

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the VNG Military Funeral Honors Program conduct a training session Oct. 22, 2020, at the State Military Reservation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. During the refresher training, full-time members of the MFH Program practiced graveside services, adjusted to allow for social distancing and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. In Fiscal Year 2020, the program performed funeral honors for roughly 2,200 veterans across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
