First Lady of Virginia Pamela Northam visits a Virginia Department of Emergency Management distribution warehouse Dec. 18, 2020, in Richmond, Virginia, to learn more about the operation and thank the partnership of VDEM, private sector companies and the Virginia National Guard for getting much-needed COVID-19 safety supplies delivered all over the state. Virginia Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security Brian J. Moran, State Coordinator of Emergency Management Curtis Brown and Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, joined the tour led by Jason Eaton, VDEM’s logistics chief. Northam and Williams both presented their challenge coins to recognize outstanding job performance and exchanged coins as well.
