VNG Soldiers extend enlistments at U.S. Capitol - Jan. 27, 2021

Lt. Col. Alyssa Astphan, commander of the 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, administers the oath of enlistment to Virginia National Guard Soldiers extending their enlistment Jan. 27, 2021, on the steps of the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. The Soldiers are assigned to the 429th BSB, 3647th Maintenance Company, 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group and 1710th Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th RSG, and they were on duty supporting civilian law enforcement during the 59th Presidential Inauguration.
