VNG marksmanship competitors compete in final course of fire - May 23, 2021

Soldiers and Airmen from the Virginia National Guard work through the Bianchi Battle course of fire during the state’s small arms combat marksmanship match, hosted by the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, May 23, 2021, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. The match was a team event that required Soldiers to first push a Humvee, run up a set of stairs and engage targets with their rifles, run to the next lane and engage targets with their pistols, and run to the final lane to engage targets with shotguns. Nearly 70 shooters participated in the weekend-long marksmanship match and competed as both individuals and as teams of four.
