Alpha Company, 1-116th Infantry recognizes Soldiers at D-Day Memorial - June 6, 2021

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Bedford-based Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct promotion, enlistment extension and awards ceremonies June 6, 2021, at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. Joined by family and friends, Alpha Company ruck marched from the Bedford armory to the memorial to honor those who fought on D-Day, then recognized current members serving in the unit.
