116th IBCT Soldiers live-fire mortars during annual training - June 5, 2023

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to multiple units from across the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct a mortar live-fire range June 5, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. During the exercise, Soldiers assigned to the Portsmouth-based 2nd Squadron, 183rd Cavalry Regiment and the Winchester-based 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment fired 60 mm mortars. The range was part of the 116th IBCT’s annual training at Fort Barfoot.
