Quarry platoon crushes rock during annual training - June 8, 2023

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Fort Barfoot-based 157th Engineer Platoon, 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group conduct quarry operations June 8, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The 157th is a quarry unit, one of four in the Army National Guard, and is primarily composed of Soldiers holding either the 12N horizontal construction engineer or 12G quarrying specialist military occupational specialties. The gravel the 157th is producing will be used by other units to construct a new light demolition range on Fort Barfoot.
