3-116th Soldiers train on rappelling during AT - June 13, 2023

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Winchester-based 3rd Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct rappel training June 13, 2023, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. The Fort Barfoot-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, provided instruction for the exercise, part of the Staunton-based 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s annual training being held at Fort Barfoot. Soldiers from the Republic of Estonia and the United Kingdom also participated in the rappel training.
