34th CERFP elements train with Henrico Fire - March 1-2, 2024

Virginia National Guard Airmen assigned to the Richmond-based Medical Detachment 1, 192nd Medical Group, 192nd Wing, train with the Henrico County Division of Fire during a two-day event March 1 and 2, 2024, at the Henrico County Fire Training Center in Glen Allen, Virginia. The detachment is the medical component of the Richmond-based 34th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High-Yield Explosives Enhanced Response Force Package. The Airmen, including members of the 34th CERFP’s search and extraction element, observed Henrico Fire’s hazardous material operations and conducted two joint exercises covering HAZMAT and technical rescue scenarios.
