2-224th AVN fuelers keep aviation missions flying - June 11, 2024

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to Echo Company, 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment provide hot fuel for a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter at a Forward Arming and Refueling Point, or FARP, June 11, 2024, at Fort Walker, Virginia. The FARP allows aircraft to refuel quickly and tactically at remote locations. The FARP set-up, as well as the battalion’s additional training at Fort Walker, is part of their two-week annual training.
