276th Engineer Battalion welcomes new commander - July 20, 2025

Maj. Andrew J. Czaplicki takes command of the Virginia National Guard’s Petersburg-based 276th Engineer Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group from Lt. Col. Joseph M. Fleishman during a change of command ceremony July 20, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia. Col. Dennis M. Rohler, commander of the 329th RSG, presided over the exchange of organizational colors representing the change of command from Fleishman to Czaplicki. The ceremony also marked Fleishman’s retirement, and Rohler presented him with the Legion of Merit in recognition of his decades of service. The Troutville-based 29th Infantry Division Band provided ceremonial music for the event.
