NC Guard Soldiers receive Order of Saint George at Fort Barfoot - Sept. 17, 2024

Four North Carolina National Guard Soldiers assigned to the 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team receive Knighthood in the Honorable Order of Saint George Sept. 17, 2024, at Fort Barfoot, Virginia, at a ceremony held during M1A2 live-fire training. The U.S. Cavalry and Armor Association awards the Order of Saint George to Soldiers who demonstrate outstanding leadership, technical and tactical competence and exceptional teamwork while serving in Armor and Cavalry units. Capt. Ken Vilagos and 1st Sgt. Scott Bang received the Order of Saint George Bronze Medallion, and Staff Sgt. Daniel Tallent and Staff Sgt. Zachary Harrison received the Order of Saint George Black Medallion.
