2-224th AVN Soldiers tackle testing for German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge - Aug. 13, 2025

Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Sandston-based 2nd Battalion, 224th Aviation Regiment, 29th Infantry Division begin testing for the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge Aug. 13, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia, and at Fort Lee. Approximately 25 Soldiers participated in the first event - the 100-meter swim test - before moving on to a multi-phased marksmanship assessment.
