65th D-Day anniversary celebrated in Bedford - June 06, 2009

Soldiers from Several units from the Virginia Army National Guard, including 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team; 29th Army Band, and the 29th Infantry Division, were on hand to lend support at the 65th Anniversary of Operation Overlord at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia June 6.
