Virginia Guard graduates four Equal Opportunity Advisors
The Virginia Army National Guard graduated four equal opportunity advisors at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute on June 26 at Patrick Air Force Base, Florida. After completing Phase I of the online course, Soldiers attended an intensive five-week resident course designed to develop knowledge and skills that allow graduates to assess human relations climates in the organizations they serve, and to provide advice and assistance to commanders to prevent, reduce, or eliminate discriminatory practices. Each Soldier was presented a coin from Brig. Gen Stephen Huxtable, the Assistant Adjutant General for the Army, to recognize their achievements.
