Cav Squadron checks medical readiness -- January 22, 2011

National Guard Soldiers from the Portsmouth-based 2nd Squadron 183rd Cavalry Regimemnt go through the medical screening portion of their Soldier Readiness Program Jan. 22 at Fort Pickett. The Soldiers of the squadron are making sure they are medically fit to deploy to Iraq later this Summer on federal orders. The medical screening was conducted by the Deputy State Surgeon's Office with the help of a contracted medical review company.
