Virginia Defense Force conducts annual exercise -- Nov. 5, 2011

Members of the Virginia Defense Force participate in a field training exercise Nov. 5. The VDF conducted their 2011 Forward Guardian FTX Nov.5-6 at several locations across the commonwealth including Manassas, Virginia Beach and Fort Pickett. The VDF FTX was built around command and control operations and deploying various response packages in response to scenario-based events.
