Martinsville-based Soldiers compete in regional food competition – June 8, 2013

Soldiers from the Martinsville-based 1173rd Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group prepare an evening meal during the regional-level 46th Philip A. Connelly Excellence in Food Service Awards Program June 8, 2013, at Fort Pickett. The Connelly team competed in the National Guard Field Kitchen category and the Soldiers prepared a meal for 75 that included pork chops, mashed potatoes and Texas tortilla soup.
