429th BSB mechanics conduct field maintenance operations - June 12, 2013

Mechanics from the Danville-based 429th Brigade Support Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, conduct field maintenance operations in the brigade support area June 12, 2013, at Fort Pickett. When possible, mechanics repair equipment in the field to return it duty more quickly, and equipment that can't be repaired is recovered the battalion's maintenance operation on main post. In addition to repairs, maintenance personnel also use the time during annual training to conduct scheduled services on vehicles and weapons.
