189th Engineer Co. Soldiers train on new bridge system - June 19, 2013
Soldiers from the Bowling Green-based 189th Engineer Company, 276th Engineer Battalion, 91st Troop Command recover elements of the Dry Support Bridge system June 19, 2013, at Fort Pickett during the unit's two-week annual training. Approximately 30 Soldiers from the company completed a two-week certification course in April taught by representatives from WFEL, the bridge manufacturer, and those Soldiers conducted training for the rest of the company during AT. The new bridge takes less personnel and less time to set up than the previous system, and the company also has a float bridge system in their inventory.
