Governor signs bill streamlining homeland security efforts - April 2, 2014

Governor Terry McAuliffe signs Senate Bill 381 transferring the responsibility for overseeing and coordinating efforts to strengthen homeland security from the Secretary of Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security to the Secretary of Public Safety April 2, 2014, at the Virginia Department of Emergency Management’s Emergency Operations Center in Richmond.
