Department of Military Affairs honors state employees at Camp Pendleton - May 6, 2014

Maj. Gen. Daniel E. Long, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, recognizes and thanks Department of Military Affairs state employees at a State Employee Recognition luncheon May, 6, 2014, at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach. Retired Brig. Gen. Steve Huxtable, the Director of Personnel and Administration for the Virginia Department of Military Affairs, retired Navy Capt. Mark Chicoine, the director of the Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy, Lt. Col. Preston Scott, commander of Fort Pickett Maneuver Training Center, and Lt. Col. Stock Dinsmore, the commander of the Virginia Air Guard’s 203rd RED HORSE Squadron, were among the senior leaders who recognized their employees. Following the luncheon, selected personnel received awards for their outstanding performance and dedicated service.
