Former state aviation officer receives military recognition for meritorious service - June 25, 2014

Brig. Gen. Wayne A. Wright, Virginia National Guard Director of the Joint Staff, presents Lt. Col. James A. Caruso, II, with the U.S. Army Meritorious Service Medal June 25, 2014, at the Mullins Readiness Center, Sandston, Va. Caruso received the military medal for his dedicated service to the Virginia National Guard and was awarded the medal prior to being assigned to the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Va.
