Va. Guard G-4 hosts annual logistics conference at Camp Pendleton - Aug. 12, 2014
Logisticians from across the Virginia National Guard met to discuss sustainment activities Aug. 12, 2014, at Camp Pendleton, Va. Command supply discipline and logistics planning were the main topics discussed during the five-day conference that began Aug. 11 as the Va. Guard prepares for the start of the fiscal year. The event, with more than 50 Soldiers attending, also served to define and develop techniques and procedures that ensure that the logistics considerations are leveraged into the planning and execution of supported unit training events and future military operations. The intent of the conference is to provide a platform for senior logistics experts, key stakeholders within the Va. Guard and supported commands to discuss operational support requirements that can or may be met by the sustainment community.
