VDF test communication capabilities - Oct. 4, 2014

Members of the Virginia Defense Force and the Virginia National Guard operate a mobile command post to test communications capabilities Oct. 4, 2014, in Sandston, Va. Using the MCP, the VDF operates mobile tactical communication packages using wireless internet and satellite phones to test communications with the Virginia National Guard's Sandston-based Joint Operations Center. One of the key capabilities of the MCP is long range radio communications.
