Soldiers train as transporters at Va. Guard schoolhouse - Feb. 4, 2015
Soldiers from the U.S. Army Reserve and the Army National Guard conduct hands-on training with the U.S. Army’s M915, a tractor trailer used for long haul missions, Feb. 3, 2015, as part of the 88M Motor Transport Operator Course taught at the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute. The 10 students enrolled in the course practiced maneuvering the vehicles to ensure they have the skills to precisely maneuver one of the massive trucks to a loading dock. The future transporters are currently in Phase II of a two-phase, four-week course.
