Virginia Guard Soldiers shoot for marksmanship honors - June 27, 2015

Virginia National Guard Soldiers from units across the commonwealth compete in The Adjutant General’s 2015 Pistol Match June 27, 2015, at Fort Pickett, Va. The event was run by Soldiers from the Fort Pickett-based 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute and included a variety of different matches that required competing Soldiers to shoot from different positions and distances, testing their marksmanship prowess. More than 40 Soldiers competed as both individuals and as teams, working not just for honors for themselves, but for their units as well.
