Camp Pendleton hosts 2015 Va. Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads Competition - Sept. 25, 2015

Teams from around the state compete in the 2015 Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads Competition Sept. 25, 2015, at Camp Pendleton, Va. Squads were tested on various emergency scenarios. The competition coincided with the 81st annual VAVRS Conference Sept. 21 – 25 in Virginia Beach. In addition, a group of paramedics from Germany were on hand to observe the competition as part of an exchange program between Virginia and Germany which is now celebrating its 20th year.
